In this article, we will show you how to create a Gate on Connect&GO's Back-office.
What is a Gate?
A gate is made in correlation to an access point and represents all entrances leading into an access controlled area. For example, if you have a VIP Lounge with two entrances and plan to only track clients that are entering the lounge, you can create one access point called 'IN VIP Lounge' with two gates called 'Entry 1 VIP Lounge' and 'Entry 2 VIP Lounge.' If one of the entrances is an entry and the other an exit, then you can create two access points called 'IN VIP Lounge' and 'OUT VIP Lounge' with one gate per access point. A gate will automatically be created once a user log into the access control from the web app.
