Connect&GO's Access Control
Connect&GO's Access Control system is a customizable, web-based entry and exit tracker. Clients can enter areas with permission and/or token controlled RFID wristbands, badges or barcodes. As a result of the web-based system, it cannot know what your location is, unless it has been properly configured and that you specifically tell it who and where you are, exactly.
PART 1: Prerequisites
- Your Access Control must be configured on the back-office first.
- To do so, you must have previously created any users, their roles, zones, gates and access points that will be needed.
- You must also have previously created an access control (display) configuration, which is the overall design (background, font, logo, colours etc). This is applicable if the access point is displayed on a tablet/screen.
PART 2: Logging into Access Control
Credentials: a valid user.
- Once your Access Control has been created and configured on the Back-office (ca.connectngo.com), you and your staff can then go to the Dashboard section on the back-office and click on the Access Control button at the top, right of the page. This will direct you to the Access Control system.
- You will then have to fill the following fields:
- If your User has more than one Gate, you will be asked to select the one you want to use, otherwise, you will be logged into your default Gate automatically.
- If your User has more than one Access Point, you will be asked to select the one you want to use, otherwise, you will be logged into your default Access Point automatically.
- If all elements are correctly configured, you will be logged in and directed to the main scanning page.
- You must ensure you are logged into the correct Gate and Access Point because the Access Control system allows for varied permissions options that vary depending on the access point. If your User can log into many different Gates and/or Access Points, it is imperative you make sure you are in the correct one.
PART 3: Changing parameters and Logging out of Connect&GO's Access Control
- If you need to change any of the login parameters, go to the bottom, right of the scanning page and click on the title of the access point your screen is logged into. It is in small font and you will notice when you hover over the title, that the colour changes.
- A popup will appear. Type in your UID to authenticate the action.
- Once the popup refreshes, you will be able to change the access point, gate and/or direction (in or out).
- As well, this is where you will Logout.
