Objective
In this section, we will show you how to customize and enhance some elements of the kiosk display such as the background, logos, texts, colours etc. After this section, you should be able to create a kiosk configuration and edit its parameters.

A) Create a new kiosk configuration
The kiosk configuration gathers all the parameters of the kiosk display and will later be associated with your kiosks in the Back-Office. You can also choose to have more than one kiosk configuration if you want to easily switch them over time.
1- In the Back-Office, under the Configuration menu, select Kiosk Configuration.

2- Click on Create kiosk configuration.
3- Fill out the main fields :
- Name: Internal name of the configuration
- Type : V2 (as V1 is not supported anymore since February 1st 2023)
4- Click on Create Kiosk Configuration at the bottom of the page.
B) Add the kiosk images
Parts of the visuals on the kiosk screens can be changed by adding images to the configuration such as the logo, the background, the maintenance page, etc.
1- If not already there, in the Back-Office, under the Configuration menu, select Kiosk Configuration.
2- Click on the eye icon next to the desired kiosk configuration, then click on the Images tab.
3- Click on Create Kiosk Configuration Image.
4- Choose the image type you want to add :
- Completed
- Logo
- Maintenance
- Media
- Still-there
- Universal-Background-header-media
- Universal-background-media
5- Upload the media, then click on Create Kiosk Configuration

C) Edit the kiosk Configuration
1- If not already there, in the Back-Office, under the Configuration menu, select Kiosk Configuration.
2- Click on the pen icon next to the desired kiosk configuration.
3- Fill out the fields :
A) Primary-color : hexadecimal color code (#ffffff), will change buttons like the ones below (the primary color is set to blue in this example)
B) Secondary-color: hexadecimal color code (#ffffff), change the following: (the primary color is set to green in this example)
- Breadcrumbs colors
- Date number colors
- Savings font colors
- Subtitles
C) Third-color: hexadecimal color code (#ffffff), change the following:
- Pending Action Screen fallback screensaver (the fallback one has 3 floating dots, third color controls one of them)
D) Wait-screen-message : allows to change the message on the button of the PENDING action screen for all the supported languages.
E) Flow_willcall : this option will activate the “Will-call” flow on the kiosk, meaning guests will be able to redeem their online purchases via the kiosk.
F) Flow_wristband_scan: this option will allow the guest to scan their wristband from the main screen to view the content of their wallet (tickets, cashless, adding, etc).
G) Flow_buy: this option will activate the sales on the kiosk, allowing guests to purchase items from the kiosk.
H) Flow_reload: this option will activate the “Reload” flow on the kiosk, allowing the guests to reload their wristbands via the kiosk.
I) Screen_saver_timeout: timer (in milliseconds) before the pop-up “Are you still here?” Shows up.
J) Screen_saver_mode : input the string image or video depending on the result you want. The screensaver is displayed on the pending screen (while there is no action on the kiosk).
K) Screen_saver_media: input the url of the image or video.
L) Maintenance_msg_title : This is the header in the message displayed when something goes wrong with the kiosk. (OOPS! From the picture below)
M) Maintenance_msg_desc: This is the description of the maintenance message screen. ( Head to the nearest station to …. From the picture below)
N) Hard_cross_sell : enabling hard_cross_sell allows you to offer or push cross-sells to kiosk customers once they click on proceed to checkout. Which often can maximize revenue, simply check the Boolean to TRUE.
O) Media_name: Represent the name of the virtual wallet (Wristband, QR code, etc as examples)
4- Once finished with the modification, click on Update kiosk configuration.
